Yazd Provincial Police Commander:
During these days of Sacred Defense, strict action against drivers and “shooti” vehicles transporting undocumented foreign nationals is on the agenda. If such vehicles fail to comply with police stop orders, they will be stopped by police gunfire.
Since the beginning of the Ramadan War, Yazd police officers have seized 57 “shooti” vehicles carrying undocumented migrants on the province’s transit routes.
